About Anna O. Andrade, LCMHC
Passion, the heart and soul of my work
I am a passionate psychotherapist and a self-taught artist with a passion for expression. During my academic career I chose to follow my first passion, caring for others. As a psychotherapist, I have dedicated the last eighteen years to the human service field while developing my artistic skills.
With sensitivity and compassion, I works with clients to find solutions to a wide range of life challenges. Blending conventional and alternative approaches, I draws on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client.
At the heart of my work is a desire to combine both of my passions, art and therapy. While offering psychotherapy I incorporate art to supplement traditional talk therapy. The use of art in therapy is a wonderful, relaxing way to express feelings, emotions and thoughts that are difficult to express through talk therapy. Individual artistic expression is a result of exploration through a guided and creative process.
